Message from Superintendent
Dear Student, Parent, Community Member or Other Interested Person,
Thank you for your interest in Avon Lake City Schools. The Avon Lake City School 
District is a high-performing, student-centered community of learners. Support from all stakeholders inside and outside the school district is central to the success of our students. Students achieving at their highest level is our goal. The dedication and hard work of everyone involved allows us to continually get closer to meeting this goal with all students.
Even in this time of "ultra-technology", communication is a facet of our organization that we struggle with every day and work to improve constantly. We encourage all of our constituents to attend school board meetings, public forums, coffees, access this website, visit our campuses or call the appropriate entity for information or with questions. In the past year, we have added a monthly TV show on Channel 99 and will continue to upgrade our website in order to better facilitate timely and meaningful communication with our community.
For our students to get the education they need to be successful in today's world, it will take all of us working together.
